XT60 / XT30 connectors (Y-splitter & adapters)

Typical 12 AWG XT60 1→3 power Y (~30 cm) — one pack to multiple loads

XT60H-M / XT60H-F with grey snap-on sheaths (as ordered)

Compact XT30↔XT60 adapters for bench / peripherals

Classic Amass XT60 pairs — solder with a chisel tip + flux: see tools
One pack. Three hungry loads. The temptation to solder a Y straight onto the battery lead was real — “saves a connector.” We didn’t. With the Tattu 6S and O4 Air Unit Pro we want proper XT60 harnessing: one pack, three branches, no mess on the battery itself.
We ordered:
- XT60H Y-splitter 12 AWG — 1 plug → 3 sockets, ~30 cm
- Extra XT60H male/female pairs + housings
- XT30↔XT60 adapters (2× XT30-male → XT60-female, 2× XT30-female → XT60-male)
Does that Y need to be exactly 30 cm? No idea until it sits on the frame. Better a bit long and trim than too short and reorder.
Role in the build
Pack XT60 (male on battery)
└──► Y-splitter female
├──► Pacer ESC (XT60)
├──► PM02D (often XT60 on board; else adapter)
└──► O4 Pro power leads (solder/adapter onto XT60 branch)

Polarity & safety
- XT60/XT60H are polarized (+/− marked). Verify with a meter before first contact.
- Convention: female on the “live” source side where practical. Never assume with no-name cables.
- 12 AWG Y is fine for short branches. Keep joints clean. Soldering XT60: chisel tip + flux — tools · nanofix tip care.
- 6S hot-plug sparks. Props off. Anti-spark (XT90-S elsewhere) is a later maybe.

Our pick: 12 AWG XT60H 1→3 Y as the pack hub. Extra pairs for repair. XT30 adapters only for peripherals (smoke stopper, lab), not as a substitute for the Y to the ESC.

XT30 adapters — when
Only if a device has XT30 (small BEC, smoke stopper, lab PSU). Our main chain is XT60. Adapters are spare/lab. Not a replacement for the 12 AWG Y to the ESC.
