What you do

  1. Assemble the AOS UL8 V5 (arms, hardware, soft-mount stack).
  2. Mount motors (F100 1100KV) and ESC (Pacer 60A V2); verify prop rotation.
  3. Solder the capacitor from the Pacer package (or upgrade ~2200 µF @ 35–50 V) onto the ESC power pads — details · Oscar Liang.
  4. Fit HQProp LR8×4.2×3 (only after safe power-on checks without props where appropriate).
  5. Add TPU / 3D prints for antennas, GPS masts, and stack protection — solid, repeatable mounts.
  6. Check clearances, fasteners, and cable runs before avionics.
